Since 2020-2021 mortgage rates have been averaging at an all-time low, averaging around 2.7%. To put that in perspective, that's a decrease of around $100 per month from years prior. That's insane!

However, mortgage rates have been slightly increasing since last September, averaging close to 3.0%.

So what does this mean?

Right now mortgage rates are still low and can save you money on your monthly payments. So if you are still considering buying a home, now is still a good time to lock in a low rate.
