One of the best ways to invest your money is in real estate. Homes are always appreciating and the return of investment is high. If you're interested in investing, here are a few tips I recommend.

Learn the industry inside-out: There are many components in real estate that are important to learn. Some topics include the market, transaction process, and the laws of your state. Online there are plenty of great sources and books. If you want more depth I have some sources that I recommend.

  • Find the right real estate sector: Some things to look for are market trends, population growth, property price range, etc. If you're starting out, I would highly recommend avoiding competitive areas.
  • Build a network of people: This may include a mentor, real estate agent, lawyers, home inspector, etc. A good quote I remember is "your network is your net worth" -Grant Cardone
  • Know how to manage properties: This is mostly for rental investors. Some things to know are how to screen tenants, find a property management company, or how to manage your own property.

These are some of the tips I recommend to get started in real estate. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to me.
